We confirm active coverage, copay requirements, and Texas Health Steps preventive eligibility prior to your arrival so there are no unexpected surprises at the desk.

If your managed care organization (MCO) has changed—such as transferring between Molina, Texas Children's Health Plan, or Superior—simply notify us when booking. We will verify that Dr. Wagih A. Gendi, MD is listed as your Primary Care Provider (PCP). If not, we can easily guide you through updating your PCP selection with the state Medicaid hotline in just a few minutes.

Gendi Pediatrics is directly integrated with the State of Texas ImmTrac2 Immunization Registry. With parental consent, our clinical team can look up electronic vaccination histories recorded by Texas hospitals and certified clinics. If your child received immunizations in another state or country, please contact your prior doctor to have records faxed to our office at (713) 477-0404.
